Serving Size, 1

17 Oct

Its Friday night again I’m single, thin and bored with nothing and no one to do. Do I turn to the Blue Bell ice cream for comfort or just turn in at 9p.m.?

On one hand I’m single its Friday I need to be out mixing and mingling. However, on the other hand I don’t really fell like going out alone. More importantly I’M THIN I have no business eating 500 calories of anything.

When I was dating this was easy just call up my boyfriend, pick a place and go. Before a relationship I use to do so many things by myself with such gaunt delight.

Cut to two years eight months later I haven’t a clue what single people do. Oh how the famished forgets huh?

It donned on me- movies!

The only thing huge about me is my adoration for the movies. I just fancy any type of theatrical art cinema or stage.

Afraid to go to the movies solo I realized I do a lot of things singular like shop, travel and eat. Partly, I do not like annoying people intruding on my adventures but, mainly I have always been a loner and no one will ever see me eat.

Nevertheless, not tonight I wouldn’t be going out by my lonesome not with my number one fall essential “The Movie Sweater.”

We read in our favorite fashion magazines every fall season about the must have items but never do this list include the movie sweater.

The movie sweater is the quintessential clothing piece of fall better yet movie season. This is the time of year we spend the most time at the theater with all the studios putting out their Oscar hopeful submissions.

Whether you’re going alone or with someone we all need a dapper companion. Not only to keep warm from the chilly nights as well, we all know year round they keep that movie theater thermostat on Christmas but to simply class up the place.

The ideal movie sweater should posses these three characteristics: (1) chic, (2) comfort and (3) convenience.

Let’s take my movie sweater for example, I’ve had it since 2007 it’s a Town Craft cable knit grandpa sweater (in vogue this season) that dresses well with anything modest or ornate. It’s 100 percent cotton and feel great to my skin, the large size is perfect for a cover up and the big pockets I can store all my things so I don’t have to smuggle a huge bag full of items. As we know the concession stand is overpriced even though I don’t eat when I do I don’t pay retail for anything.

The movie sweater is great in and outside the theater. We all like something consistent by our side also with number of sticky faced sugar fueled hefty people running around we have to distinguish ourselves.

Who says you can’t go out alone and if so why not do it looking dashing?

    well said!! and the movie sweater is a must-have because it’s always a few degrees cooler at the movies. chic, comfortable and convenient = three very important must-be’s in an article of clothing. and a movie sounds like the perfect activity right about now!! and yes, there sure are a lot of sticky-faced individuals at the movies 😉 😉 {i’m probably one of them haha!}
