Here we go again, it seem like all I do is sleep,
eat, workout and view runway shows. It’s Menswear Spring-Summer 2014 Men Fashion Week (London, Milan and Paris.) London severed the first course 06/15/2013 though, I’m still salivating and indulging over all the shows from yesterday trying to narrow down my favorites to feature I am beyond getting my fill with Spencer Hart.
Hart’s ss/14 showed all black models I’m sure he took a note from Dsquared2. This collection is a cool, airy and minimal hipster array of looks. You can see the Muslim influences of the kaftans well paired with the lithe simple colored fabrics that does a brilliant job of showcasing the cuts of the blazer. Sticking with the trend of tapered pants this whole show has a old school cat daddy feel to it. Or maybe its the presence of “The Wire” star Clarke Peters closing the show. I like how the collection gives and conscious sartorial feel that I know will be the inspiration of a lot of street fashion savants.
Overall, London fashion week is getting off to a decent start.
