With New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2014 right around the corner I thought I give you anther piece of a great collection from Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2014 to tide you over till then.
Jean Paul Gaultier‘s presentation is so appetizing to me specifically because, this is the first time I’ve seen a collection from him have more masculinity than androgyny. The lines and layering are very much on trend with next year’s aesthetic and the color palette is strong while still having a hint of romance. Brilliant use of utilitarian with the structure, leather appendages and prominent zippers and buttons. The awesome graphics and prints are just whimsical enough to soften up the hardness of the garments to reveal a bit of preppy-ness and business casual in some of the looks. This acutely “trendy” tough collections has some very versatile aspects to it that sums up as cozy, casual and cool.
