Strengths or Weaknesses

Michael Kors FW14 (5)

Here are a few looks from Michael Kors FW14 upcoming collection that he feel are the strongest and will be the “companions” to the looks he send down the runway in a few weeks. Here’s my thoughts… I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!

Kors has a reputation at this point of just repeating collections and when he’s not doing that he’s recreating other designers’ successful looks. However, this collection is the prefect cross between fall preppy and winter hippie. When I seen these looks I instantly salivated. For Americans the trends of next next season will be structured/streamlined warm-up suits. The comfortable staples have gotten a refine update and will soon be the must have day-wear, gym-wear and lounge-wear of fall/winter 2014. Another thing I like about this collection is how thoughtful it is with the leather backpacks for men on the go, oversize scarves and hats to stay warm and the dapper aspect of fashion isn’t lost. The Birkenstock-styled sandals with one tone socks are predicted to be big this spring/summer so now you can expect to see that trend right through next fall. I’m confident in exclaiming this will be a classic collection. No there’s nothing new about this collection from an innovate view, but you can’t deny the refreshing style of the garments together in the mist of all the colorful, over the top and eccentric collection from other fashion houses.

I’m so ready for New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2014 now!

    Nice post! 🙂
It’s quite stylish. I like everything but I don’t get this style of wearing flip-flops with socks :/ Well, this fashion faux pas really annoys me.
