So this post is for the fatties that can’t seems to eat their way to a clear face or waist for that matter.
Vitamin C is extremely important for the growth and repair of tissues in all parts of your body. It helps the body make collagen, an essential protein used to make skin, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels. Also, vitamin C is needed for healing wounds, and for repairing and maintaining bones and teeth (you know, better to eat with).
We all know vitamin c is found in oranges but there are other foods high in vitamin c such as: bell peppers, dark leafy greens, kiwis, broccoli, berries, citrus fruits, tomatoes, peas, and papayas. However, if you simply refuse to clean up your diet in the efforts to clean up your face I have an alternative way of getting the 60 mg daily value of vitamin c with a serum.
In addition to my current moisturizer (that is great at locking moisture in) I prefer serums because they are lithe, fast-absorbing and works better for my oily skin without locking active ingredients out, like moisturizers.
The brilliance of a serum is that it is a high concentration of active ingredients, which is why they can be expensive but you don’t need much s,o it last longer.
Radha Beauty & Oz Naturals sent me each one of their vitamin c anti-aging serums. I was hesitant to try because I don’t like putting new things on my face that may cause breakouts. Thankfully, both these products works rather well with my current toner and moisturizer.
Oz Natural’s 20% VITAMIN C + AMINO + HYALURONIC ACID SERUM combines the highest quality Vitamin C, and Hyaluronic acid to create a potent antioxidant that goes on smooth and helped protect and brighten my skin throughout the day. It has a clinical strength of 20%, made is the USA, does not contain alcohol, parabens or sulfates and is safe for all skin types. I applied 3 drops to my palms after I tone and right before I added my moisturizer. This serums wasn’t sticky, smelly or caused irritation to my skin. I have noticed more of a glow and lightness in my T-zone area. It comes in a glass 1 fl oz bottle with a droplet and retail for $77.95 but can be purchased at Amazon for $22.49.
If you’re not good with measuring then Radha Beauty’s Viatmin C Serum for Face comes in a 1 fl oz pump that retails at $18.89. What I like about this option is the pump, I don’t have to worry about measuring and excess oil everywhere. It seems to be more concentrated like a lotion but without the need for constant rubbing in, also its known to neutralize free radicals and proven to stimulate collagen. I’ve been getting the same results as the aforementioned serum although, it was fast and effective in healing a cut I got from shaving. Both serums played a fine part erasing my razor bump blemishes I acquired from a rush shaving job a week ago. I must say I feel more professional when I use a droplet, I feel like a chemists as if I’m really finding the cure to clear, even a tone skin.
I give both products a 10 only because they don’t give the promise of correction or treatment so there is nothing to wait for, it is meant to enhance and add to your current regime. Therefore, anything other than preventing wrinkly and plumping the skin is a added bonus. I recommend this for anyone with spotty or dehydrated skin.
Oh yeah, I have had a nice dewy look to my skin all day.
